Hampton Court House is an incredible place, a sumptuous 18th century house overlooking Bushy Park with one of the most spectacular ceremony rooms I’ve ever seen. The double height ceilings, pillars and big windows take your breath away. And what a ceremony it was – full of emotion, laughter and beautiful readings. I knew from the moment Eleanor walked in, outlined in the door with the sunshine behind her, that it was going to be pretty amazing, and it was made even more special by the fact that it was conducted by Eleanor’s godmother. I loved every moment!
Eleanor and Ben’s wedding was at the beginning of March. It was a lovely crisp sunny day so all the guests were able to enjoy the sunshine afterwards and we were even lucky enough to have a beautiful sunset. I love the warm glow you can get with winter sunsets, and Eleanor and Ben were extremely game about being outside in the cold. Still, I’m sure they were glad to head back into the warmth again – as evidenced by Eleanor’s huge smile walking into the dining room to whoops and cheers!
