I love love love shooting weddings at Northbrook (you can see some of my others here) – gorgeous rooms, peacocks (check out the handsome fella below!) and beautiful grounds that have a real ‘secret garden’ feel to them. Winter weddings here are no exception. The Vine room (where ceremonies are held) is so light and airy that it really doesn’t matter what the weather is doing outside, and the Orangerie (for the wedding breakfast) with all its lush greenery is perfectly suited to twinkly lights and being filled with seasonal flowers. This wedding was in February, and it was a bitterly cold day! I was amazed at the bravery of the bridesmaids for heading outside for some photos, but they were full of fun and laughter as well as bravery and it was well worth it! But what makes weddings is the people. Fiona and Alistair are wonderful, and there was so much love for them from everyone present. The whole day was beautiful and emotional and I am just so grateful to have been a part of it. Thank you for having me Fiona and Alistair, and stay in touch!
