The Ritz London wedding photography

There are few London venues as iconic as The Ritz, and as a wedding photographer I had an amazing time capturing Jo and Simon’s wedding there. With 40 guests, it was a beautiful intimate day with their closest family and friends.

Jo got ready with her bridesmaids in the Junior Suite, and was accompanied by her brother down the iconic staircase and Long Gallery to the ceremony in the Music Room. The Ritz’s Music Room is a gorgeous space with lovely soft light; it worked perfectly for the ceremony and was later transformed for the wedding breakfast.

While their guests enjoyed drinks after the ceremony, I was able to sneak away with Jo and Simon for photos in the Long Gallery. With its high vaulted ceilings and glittering chandeliers, the Ritz’s Long Gallery is one of the most photographed spaces in London - using my tilt-shift lens there allowed us to capture some beautifully dreamy, romantic shots.

Jo and Simon were an absolute dream to work with - so kind and with a clear vision of the relaxed and intimate day they wanted. I was delighted to receive the following testimonial from Jo after delivering their photos: “I met Claire at a wedding fair after meeting with many photographers. I was looking for somebody I could trust to capture the most special day of my life and that is exactly what Claire did. She was so friendly and put everyone at ease (even those who hate having their photo taken). She not only takes the most beautiful photos which are unique to you, but understands how important it is to capture those little details and moments that make the day so special. It is this attention to detail and genuine care about what she does that makes her, in my eyes the very best! I could not recommend her highly enough!! Thank you so much! X”
