Newborn and beyond

If you’ll shortly be welcoming a new baby into your family, that’s wonderful news - many congratulations!  It’s hard to imagine a time of your life that will be more exciting and exhausting, or more full of wonder and love.  I offer a three-part photography package (pricing at the bottom of this page) so that you have three sets of photos to document your child’s progress from newborn to toddler.

Part 1 - Newborn

This magical time with your newborn is so special for me to capture.  Newborn photos are best taken within 2 weeks of the birth date (after which they start un-curling and may develop milk spots), so it’s best to contact me in advance to check my availability around your due date, then let me know when baby has arrived.  The newborn shoot will also include photos of your baby with you, and after only a couple of months you’ll look back at those photos and marvel that they were ever so small in your arms!  

Part 2 - Baby

After the newborn shoot, I’ll meet up with you all again after your baby has just started sitting up - all babies are different, but this tends to happen at around the 6-7 month stage.  This is always really amazing for me, to see how much baby has changed!  No longer tiny and helpless, they’re now smiling and giggling and waving pudgy hands around.  We’ll have a longer shoot, which really will be more like a big playdate that I happen to bring a camera along to!

Part 3 - Toddler

To complete the package, I’ll meet up with you for a third time when your child is sturdy on their feet and just starting to toddle.  They’re now starting to look less like a baby and more like a little child - another amazing change - and it’s wonderful to capture this first foray into childhood.

Newborn and beyond photography package

Total price:  £450

Payable in installments of £200, £125 and £125 (one at each photoshoot)

We will have three separate photoshoots:

  • Newborn shoot:  15+ photos (30-45 mins)

  • Baby shoot (around 6-8 months, when baby is sitting up):  30+ photos (1hr)

  • Toddler shoot (around 12-15 months, when baby is standing up):  35+ photos (1hr)

All photos are provided to you as digital files, fully edited and ready for you to print or share with friends & family.

All shoots in the newborn and beyond package must be taken on weekdays.
